BMW and Citroen's Electric Vehicle Experiments
BMW Classic Mini
In 2018, BMW unveiled a one-off, all-electric version of the classic MINI, originally produced in 1959. This electric MINI was developed as a promotional stunt but demonstrated BMW's interest in electric vehicle technology.
Citroen C15 and C25 Electric Vans
Citroen also experimented with electric vehicles in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The company produced electric versions of its C15 and C25 vans, along with an unusual-looking city car known as the "C15 Evasion." These vehicles were relatively small-scale projects but helped Citroen gain valuable experience in electric vehicle development.
